5 Week Intro To Ukulele Workshop

Fun, friendly and professional ukulele course for beginners

Are you new to Ukulele and need someone to show you the basics so you can start playing songs and maybe even join a community ukulele group?

Then come and join us for 5 weeks of structured lessons to get you on your way!

Our 5 x 1-hour workshops are designed for people who are new to music or have never played the ukulele before.

We start from the very beginning so there are no gaps in your skills. We cover the how the instrument works, how to hold it, play notes, strum, read chord charts, tablature and play songs!

Classes are conducted in a relaxed, casual, fun and supportive environment by Alison Glew, Founder of Alison Glew Guitar School so no need to be nervous!

Limit of 8 participants per course.

NOTE: If you are not a complete beginner then our Continuing Classes for Beginners will be a better fit. Here you’ll learn to play more complicated songs and rhythm patterns, riffs etc. Perfect if you know the basics but want to expand on your skills and repertoire.

UKULELE GROUPS T&C’s
If you can not make one of the 5 lessons you’re welcome to catch up the lesson in another group (of similar level) if there is space available. This cannot be guaranteed. Catch up lessons must be taken within the current school term. Missed lessons are not carried forward into other classes or private lessons, credited or refunded. 24 hour notice must be given to generate a make-up credit so that the spot can be offered to other students.
